As you get older, if you’re interested in aging in a healthy natural way, you will want to know the information that is most helpful for that process. There are a few ways you can do that.

One is to do research online. There are many sources of online information that will give you pointers and tips about natural healthy aging, and that don’t require any money to access. You might type in natural healthy aging in a search engine to find some of these websites.

Another thing is not to chase shiny objects. By that, I mean don’t just buy every supplement that is sold as being useful for natural aging. The reason is that it might not be the right thing for you. It’s better to take one step at a time and add one thing at a time to your regimen for natural healthy aging.

For example, if you change your exercise plan, don’t change anything else and see how you feel as you progress. If you add a supplement, don’t add another supplement right away. Let your body get used to it and then you’ll know how well it’s working for you.

The third thing to do is to stick with natural approaches. As much as possible, do activities, take supplements, and eat foods that are as natural as you can get them. Your body recognizes natural techniques, natural vitamins, and natural foods as being normal. It has to adapt to anything that’s synthetic, artificial, or processed.

To have a healthy natural aging process, do your research online, don’t chase shiny objects, and stick with natural approaches.

My Favorite Healthy Natural Aging Tip

by Dr. Bruce on July 21, 2011

My favorite healthy natural aging tip is that food is medicine. In modern times, most of us do not think about food like medicine. We take food for granted. We have lots of food when we go to the store, when we go to restaurants. Food is everywhere. But, in reality, food is actually medicine, which means that some foods are going to be better for you and some foods are actually going to be worse.

Here’s one way to think about that. If you have a car that runs on gasoline and you put diesel fuel in the tank of the car, it will not run right. Diesel fuel is a perfectly good fuel for a diesel engine but not for a gasoline engine. So if you are eating foods even though they seem like they are perfectly healthy, but they are the wrong foods for you, then you will not be feeding your body in a way that will make it get more healthy.

When you are aging, over time you cannot compensate for eating the wrong foods as well as you might have when you were younger. In fact, if the food that you’re eating isn’t the right food for you, nothing else you do is going to work as well as it might. Medications you take won’t be as effective. Supplements, vitamins, and minerals you take will not work as well. Your health will suffer over time without the right food.

So if you treat your food like medicine, your body will respond and get stronger and healthier as you age. That is my favorite natural healthy aging tip.
